I tried to replace the pcv and occ before work today. Change it to an RB one. The oem plastic top had a small crack in it, by using a wrench I made the crack worse. So I grabbed it with vise grips and it broke into a million pieces. Lol. So I spent 1.5 hours melting little grooves in the threaded part stuck inside with my solder gun and slowly tapping it with a screwdriver and hammer. So annoying and took forever. I ditched the occ job and just left for work.
Another job I had no idea what to do and found the answer on this forum!!!

Did you ever post a photo when at ride height?

Looks great by the way. I like green, but this red is much better.

Don't think I have, never really think to. If I remember I'll grab a shot. And yeah, I'm 10x happier with the red than I was with the green. It shoots well in almost any lighting, opposite of the green

I went from the 1er and GTI to GTI full time so I spent a good amount of time to wash, wax and coat windows with Gtechniq G2.

Edit: really missing the curves of the 1er!

Is this normal if you let the car sit for a while? I've never seen this before.

Yea it's normal. Just take it for a regular drive to get the rust specks off. Looks like water got splashed on the brakes.

Took off the weighted Stainless Steel shift knob and replaced it with the stock ZHP knob. All that mass turns it into an ice cube for the WHOLE ride!

LOL....I had a 370Z once I had an aftermarket SS knob in. I never got the chance to feel it in the cold, but one day when it was over 90°F in the summer I was leaving work and swore I burnt a permanent pattern into my palm when I grabbed hold of it.

Needless to say it was replaced very quickly!

ZHP knob ftw! I love that sucker.
Current M2c / M4 6MT knob is very nice as well. But I couldn't glean the P/N from RealOEM.

This is why I have shift socks for the extreme weather conditions.

Sunglass bags have been my quick fix for this
