2013 135i offer price opinions?
Looking at these two BMW 135i. The market seems pretty soft for them. I'm leaning toward the one with less miles since it has the H/K sound system. It has been in dealer inventory for over 3.5 months. Any thoughts on what to offer? I was thinking closer to $33K. Are these auction cars sold cheap?

I am not sure that I would pay over 4K more just to get the HK stereo. Both cars are clearly under warranty so why would CPO matter. Take the lower one and ask for another 1-2K off and you are golden.

Obviously buy the bottom one. Ten thousand miles is still very little. The HK stereo is nothing to write home about and who cares about CPO since both cars are under warranty?

Thanks for the thoughts. I need to go visit some local dealers to hear the difference in stereos firsthand. I should do that this week. The CPO car has an extra 1 year/25K warranty tacked on the 4/50. That's probably worth about $1000 according to the BMW extended warranty pricing I see posted on here.
IMO, since the 135i is a rather niche vehicle, had too high of an original price, and has been replaced with the 2 Series has driven down used pricing. Good used buyers market. |

Don't do it solely based on the stereo. For the price difference involved here, the stereo would have to be top class, and the HK definitely isn't. Buy the cheap one, and if you want to upgrade the stereo at some point, buy the BMW-specific stuff from Focal (IFBMW-S/C/Sub are the model names) for FAR less money. But don't be fooled into thinking the HK is dramatically better than the standard stereo...
