License Plate Light?

Since we are starving for a discussion...

Does anyone know if the license plate lights are LED or not?

I like the way the LEDs look on my wife's Lexus. I was hoping the 1er will come with LEDs instead of incandescent bulbs.

^^^^ That doesn't look "ricey" to you guys? I think I'd rather prefer a more natural light as opposed to blue, especially on a AW car.

Not at all. Do xenon headlights look ricey to you? The LED's burn brighter and whiter, and look far more modern and up-to-date than the older looking halogen ouput lights.

Nope. This is the wave of the future. I think the camera may have captured that color wrong. See this:

If you drove around Chicago with that yellow beaming, you would most likely get an officer friendly tune-up

Why would you tint headlights?

HID headlights put more light on the road than halogen. Why filter it to less lumens out?

Funny: ricers use blue bulbs to get the HID look, and folks with HID headlights use yellow tint to get the halogen look.
