Weak Chassis?

What do they mean by the chassis not being so hot...is it outdated or weak? |

I suggest you igore autoexpress's review. Their review is deemed subjective and biased towards VW and Audi. The 135i's chasis is similar to the 5/3 door 1 series's in Europe but it has been stiffened for 135i. Like you none of us have driven the 135i so read more reviews, there has to be at least 6-7, and decide for yourself.

I think the body structure of the coupe is very stiff - the reviews we've seen mention that springs and shocks are not as crisp as some would like (not to mention the size difference in tires front to rear and a small rear anti-sway bar). The basic body structure is a space-frame which (in two door mode) is quite stiff. The springs, shocks tires, sway-bars can all be replaced to provide whatever level of suspension tuning you'd want.
