I dont know what the time table is to do tooling or for the design and development of the piece. If these are things that would take days then it may be possible. Ill try to work on it from the road on my way back from PCD. |

The more I look at it the more I like it, especially after seeing the Raze lip on VO, this is so much better (in terms of matching the front line of the car).

Ill need a car in the Chicago area for measurements. Is there anyone here that is willing to help us out by offering their car to be measured?
If I dont get a bite here I will repost the request in the general forum |

The price magically jumped from 590 to 1-1.2k. So I contacted another party and the price point with them was in that high range as well. Would there still be interest at that price point? I think for something sitting a few inches off the asphalt the price point would be too high for people.
I will still search other options to see if I can find someone at a lower price point |

UPDATE: I have contacted a few other sources, I am waiting to hear their bids/recommendations. They are aerospace guys so I am not holding out that it will be affordable, but you never know.
My alternate plan is to just do this myself and I have an idea for a MUCH cheaper plastic version to test out and if people like it and there is demand I can get into the CF side of it. Or we can run a $1-200 part and just replace as we curb the thing. |

+1 for a plastic piece. I haven't pulled the trigger on a CF lip because I won't be able to stomach seeing it cracked when I eventually curb it... keep us posted!

Just wondering, what happened with this thread?
Did everyone lose interest in this piece? I honestly feel this lip would look way simpler/cleaner than any other out there. Did anyone find similar alternatives that don't cover the whole front bumper side to side (slek)? |

Oh, there you go...sorry!
I just went through the whole thread and I have to tell you the lip looks incredible!! And I'm sure it looks even sicker in person. A little more expensive than I anticipated for the 'after GB' price, which would make me extremely paranoid about it touching a bump on the road. Thanks for the links guys! I'll have to think hard before I give in. |
