I got the squeaks too... it happens when the car is cold, but not after the car's warmed up. It's going to the dealer on Monday anyway for scratched glass issues that seem to be caused by the motor, might as well have them take a look at it.

My brakes squeaked pretty bad around 3k miles...turns out they were just filthy, with a good wash it went away.

same problem here. all the time. no warming up will remove it. didn't try bedding them, but the dealer is replacing the rotors and pads all-around anyway.
if it still does it, i'll try bedding them in.

Took my car to the dealer today. They are going to replace the driver-side window under warranty, and they cleaned off and reseated my front brake pads. I should have asked for the newest ECU software too, but I figure with the JB3 lagfix beta map, no need anymore. Dealer was really cool, no hassle, and I got a 328i loaner to beat up while its getting fixed.

I have the same problem. They said it was a known issue with the parking brake calipers in the rear. Apparently they are on national back order.

Brakes are a-ok... just needed a little cleaning. I MISSED my 1er so much!
