ohh these threads are always fun.
You should also post any issues that youve had so far. It would make a decent metric of comparison for higher mileage issues for you guys. Also im curious to see if the 1Ms will suffer from a similar number of problems that early 135s had. |

i think bmw was well aware of the known issues related to the N54 before approving this engine for the 1M . so my guess is they didn't drop that engine in the 1M without resolving the known issues first ...

17,900 (4,900 of which was put on last week)and going strong.

Just search HPFP in the 1M forums. IMO this isn't nearly as bad as those of us (including myself) who bought into the N54 in 2008. According to the CarFax on my now traded-in car, I made 27 dealership visits for various issues in three years and all under 50k miles. Good luck! Love the 1M and hope to own an N54 again someday. When it worked properly, it was an absolute joy to drive. |

My car delivery took place on a Friday. I left the dealership saying: "See you next week for the first service". Clocked 2000 km during the weekend, so 3 days. Within a week after delivery got the 2000kms/1200mls service.
