Just about every used 1M is priced over $60k right now. Ridiculous. Just buy a clean low mileage N54 135i and have a HUGE build budget left over.
I wonder if anyone on the forum has actually sold their used 1M for $20K+ over msrp? If so congrats. |

Loving it, I just hope it keeps going up to make mine listed at 62 look more appetizing...

I like the trunk and that is about it. The other parts do not float my boat but that is me. The price for just the trunk is CRAZY. I want it but not for that price. OE carbon lip it is.

Why don't you buy a clean, low mileage 135 and use your HUGE build budget to make a fake-1M and then see if you can sell that for 60k?

No different than a lot of people that mod the crap out of their cars. Probably build a better performing car for under $40k. The 1M body parts would be solely used to fit big rubber, don't give a crap if it looks like a 1M. Hell you can get a custom wide body, but the 1M oem parts are so cheap. The 1M is a different case. It is a parts bin car. Someone can just do what BMW did, grab parts right out of the bin. In some cases choosing better aftermarket solutions. If someone wants to spend the premium for the 1M, I see no reason why they should not. If someone doesn't want or have the means to pay the premium. There is options for them as well. Simple really. I dont think they will have to hard time getting 68k for the car honestly.
For me personally I rather see them go high then low. |

First off I think 60k is too much. Lets use it as a conversation point though. So lets say you get a new 135 for 44k with some fun options. ttl gets you to 46ish. I think you near that 60k point very quickly trying to make it a 1M killer. Probably spending most of that money on suspension/chassis/brakes not to mention the body work and slight power bump (which many people are finding is fairly substantial). But at less than 60k (which most of us were able to achieve) I think it becomes a good deal. Yes, you could make a 1M killer for a fraction (used 135 with N54, 3k in engine mods to get 400whp, D/A coils, 18s with chubby tires, LSD, M3 bits etc.) and it would light up a 1M. Probably don't even need the body work all that bad, people have fit 255/275s on the stock 135 fenders with a little work (not ideal, but doable). But I knew I would be happier with the 1M at the end of the day. At the end of the day you are driving a modded 135 that is really badass, but it's not a 1M. Not trying to bash anyone or anything, just my point of view because I debated it as well when I thought the 1M just wouldn't happen for me. |

I'm doing my best to support the cause. I'm starting to think I priced mine too low. Had multiple emails and calls already and I just listed mine Monday. Obviously calls and emails don't equal a sale. But I'm surprised at the level of interest in two days.

This forum is a troll magnet.
I usually try to ignore them but sometimes it just irks me that someone with a 328 always feels compelled to crap on every single thread about the 1M. So, sorry for that. Let me see if I can get us back to the original topic. $80k+ seems pretty optimistic but the car does have some nice, tasteful mods. I'll watch this sucker and see what happens.

The last new 1M for sale, looks like.
And hey, its only selling for its new MSRP of 54k, not some inflated BS price from people looking to flip a profit. |

I think the price isn't bad especially if it comes with those wheels and bits.
