Get your "1" key chain now if you want it.

I've always liked the number BMW key chains, have the 3, 5, 6 ones. Tried to get the 1 from the dealer, they did not have in stock and said its NLA (no longer available). So its limited to existing stock out there, got mine on Amazon, soon you wont be able to find it anywhere. Though the 1 still exists elsewhere in the world after the renumbering to odd series 4 door and even series 2 door, dont know if the key chain is still sold to the rest of the world.

I just bought my second one a few months ago. It's the perfect keychain, small not bulky rare, and cool looking. Thanks for the heads up.

Interesting, if BMWUSA has stock wonder why dealer showed 0 available and NLA, perhaps its not really in stock on the site.

I ran the part number on BMWFans.info.

The part number listed on ShopBMWUSA.com, 80272287777 is still valid and shows production starting in July of '14.

The old part number is 80230305914, which was produced from March of '04 until April of '15.

I tried searching around and it looks like even the new part number is being listed as NLA all over the place. It's possible BMWFans.info hasn't updated their database to reflect that this keychain is also out of production.

Let us know if its a decent knockoff. I ordered a ///M key cover once that said genuine, came from China, was clearly a cheap imitation and I know because had the original one, complained and seller refunded my $.

Just ordered mine from BMW. The order seems to have gone through. I guess we'll see.

I have the OEM one from the dealer that I bought with my car and I ordered one from eBay last night. The eBay seller has other BMW OEM parts so I have hope that my $9.95 gets me a genuine item. We'll see if it holds up to the comparison test when it arrives.

I dont think its genuine but probably the best knockoff. I say this because he has the "X" keychain, BMW never had an "X" one AFAIK, I bought then a a year or two ago and it is very nice quality.

There's only six left of the $7 ones, so if you don't buy one now, it probably won't be available later. It shipped immediately, but still don't have a location from the tracking number yet.

I thought the same which is why I got two. I figured two for half the price of one from BMW, so I can use one and keep the other in packaging until the other falls apart if not good quality. I've gotten ripped off for way more money before, so $15 isnt a big deal to me.
