BAD ASSED day at F1 Outdoors, playing in +60mph carts on the 1 mile full circuit. Noyce way to spend a father's day. The chapter put on another a great event, on a 77 deg sunny day.

Christo got FTD, set during the qualifying round (so he got pole position), but In the finals, I edged him for 4th overall, from the 14th position.

I'm definitely signing up for the enduro in October. Great fun!

Nice to put a face with the nickname. We had a ball out there! It was an excellent day for outdoor karting. I finished 1st twice, out of 14 racers and I started 14th the 1st race and 2nd the second race. The third was a disaster for me and my cart. Right after the high-banked curve then the sharp left, my left front tire blew! I hustled to the pits and swapped cars but finished 10th.

Next time you guys go, hit me up or something. I'm setting up another day there in July...I'll keep you posted.

LOL! I went right through the grass...I couldn't even make the sharp left hander. It sucked too because I was in 1st place up until that happened.

I've been going to the F1 since it's opening and I have a really good relationship with the folks who run it. Here's the layout we used this past Sunday. (The arrow is where I went straight into the grass after my front left tire blew)

Pretty good.

I don't do waitlists anymore. I close it at 120 or so, and let 10 ppl cancel, like always happens.

Good question. It is my guess that Scott's wife (who was overdue with bambino #2 by 2 weeks) had the baby. That's the reason why Scott left the event after a couple runs on Sunday.
