I can spoil that and post a pic tomorrow Never used it, pretty sure whatever i'd put in would fly out or get tossed around and rattle during heavy cornering
Anyway, this morning i pulled off the engine cover to check which injectors i have and how many were replaced in the recall ( indexes are 9 7 9 9 7 9 so no replacing the whole bank and the 7s shouldn't even be there anymore afaik ) In the afternoon, i flashed the MHD stage 1 without burble map but with launch control set to 2500rpm, then went for a 20 mile evening drive and so far so good, no codes and nothing flew off, needs probably some more time to learn as it feels a bit lazy under 2k, but the power from around 3k on shocked me a little in 3rd and 4th |

Test drive tomorrow/Sunday... If stage 1 is what you say then stage 2+ plus should awesome... I'm only slightly worried about my injectors and hpfp... Injectors are 9's and 5's(think 4 9's and 2 5's) This what i was told by my service agent a couple of months ago... And Ken(wedge) told me that I should consider a fuel pump change and index 12's as well... So I'll do some logs to make sure the car is running ok... And go from there! Think the only option I checked off was "sport" cooling... Don't know if I should have chosen "track"... |

I'd guess the difference between 1 and 2+ is similar to stock vs 1(+). Sport should be good for daily driving and occasional hard driving, "track" is meant for drag racing and max cooling, probably not to be ran on it for hours and hours. Yeah index 12 are the ones to get if you need to replace them, not quite sure what's the logic behind which index were in as stock, mine had probably 7s. If your rail pressure is above 1400psi during the the 3rd gear WOT run, it should be fine and above 50psi for LPFP. I'll give it a 100 miles or so, then do a log too and check if everything is ok. Also curious if the throttle closure from 81 to around 61 that used to happend always at 4300rpm on the stock map is gone, couldn't feel it but could see it haha. |

Went to Dominion Raceway for the first time. Really really hot out today, but no cooling issues. Oil shot up to 270 pretty quickly, but it stabilized and just sat there all day.
First session was a little terrifying, there was no grip, and it was an entirely new track for me, so there was a little too much sliding in proximity to walls for my tastes, but I eventually figured out a line that was comfortable for myself and the chassis. There's one long right-hander that I just could NOT help myself from power-sliding in 3rd through corner exit almost every single lap. It was just intoxicating

Went a little overboard on spending this week to prep for the hpde during mpact in August. Waiting on new oem blanks , ds2500 pads , thrust sheets so my car sounds less broken , an extra padded steering wheel from azaa for maximum comfy, and new plugs because my logs are telling me it's time for them anyway. Didn't bother getting fluid, I swapped to pentosin super dot 4 less than 200 miles ago so i should be fine for now.... I hope

Was getting an intermittent misfire when going full throttle in my 76k mile tuned 135 so it was time for plugs. I swap em out about every 20k due to the tune and it was time. The coils were stockers but but with that mileage and I had it all apart it anyway it was the perfect time to do them as well.
Got it all done and back together and hit the road. It’s always a great feeling when you turn wrenches for a couple hours then feel the fruits of your labor. Regained power was quite noticeable and I remember just how much fun this car is.

Second day at Dominion was WAYYYY better. The way the chassis feels right now is just MAGIC. Ended up tossing a few wheel weights so the drive home was shaky
Going to tear into the brakes and rebuild and paint the calipers this week, might try to get it to a local performance shop next week, and finally have a professional alignment and corner balance done. I've wanted to do it ever since getting the Ohlins over a year ago.

Edit: I have a low pressure fuel pump sensor on the way from fcp euro... I've had 2AAF present before tune and after(could that be what you're seeing?) When I had the misfire, I cleared all codes... Car was running like crap etc... But I went to make a u-turn to head home and my SES light went off(came on when misfire happened)... And car felt normal again with no misfire present... Ran codes and I had no codes present, not even the 2AAF code I had initially before I did the logs... So I'm confused on how a misfire can go away by itself and why the 2AAF code is also gone... Gonna change the low pressure fuel pump sensor as a precaution... I have eldor coils and 2 step colder plugs waiting to be put in(do I need to put these in now?) I emailed ken(wedge) for his thoughts... Any info you guys can share will be much appreciated! |

Lpfp. Your rail pressure is fine on both logs but your "fuel low pressure sensor" readings are too low for both logs. Check the complete log from no boost to peak boost. If it's consistently less than 50 you're on your way to replacing it AND eventually the hpfp

It would be wise to change them when possible, you're pulling some timing in one log if I remember and if it's not a fueling issue like I'm suspecting that's another thing to look at |
