Got the left window regulator/lifter replaced. The original broke and the window slid down. Got a BMW dealer to do it because i could see a mess coming on if I tackled it myself. Very happy....but poorer.

They do. You aim the beam up/down and L/R via white knobs and screws on the top back above the rear cover

The two screws are kinda next to each other from what I recall. It's possible I'm remembering another car, so.. there's that. It's a bitch to adjust properly tbh, lots of back and forth. If you take a pic of your assembly maybe I can help more.

Rebuilt the front and rear calipers (new dust boots and pressure seals) and gave them a new color.

Installed SFP N51 Tune https://stagefp.com/product/sfp-n51-n52-tune/
So far I really like it, much more precise. |

Assembled the fire extinguisher bracket & mocked it up on the car. Tomorrow I'll be installing it.

Anyone know if the exhaust routing is the same between the E87 (5-door hatch) and the E82?
Laptorr makes a delicious sounding exhaust for the 328i, and I really really want to know if their 130i unit would be installable on the 128i... Dream exhaust sound right there

Well, I’m as weak a man as they come, but I landed a set of E39 Style 37 wheels (18x8/9 ET20/24 respectively) and will be doing the rear hub conversion to squeeze 215/40 and 245/35 tires. Wish me luck as from everything I’ve researched, no one has fitted a set of M-Parallels onto an E82 platform.

Also, remember that E39's have a different hub flange size so the wheels won't sit on the flange correctly without adapters.

Honestly, I’m currently running 8J ET25 without rubbing after relocating and trimming the fender tabs with a 225 I500 and adding 5mm offset and subtracting 10mm tread width should squeeze it right in there IMO. |
