I would either hit up a salvage yard to pick up the pieces or do the M3 cowl conversion; there's a few sets on ebay currently that are affordable. I never understood why people did the BMS filters.

Have a full 1er cowl with covers in my garage. If you want. No clue how bad shipping would be to you though. It's pretty long and not super light.

Shoot me a message.

ShocknAwe Do you still have your cowl? I just got my 2013 e88 (80K) but neglected to check the look of the cowl (I replaced one on my e46 last year). It's warped in the center and no longer contacts the windshield - which I assume it should.

Let me know.

I do.

Have you tried replacing the two gaskets first??

Windshield Gasket

My mistake. I was referring to the gaskets in my message, but used the term "cowl" as that's what ECS Tuning calls it. Actual cowl is completely different, right?

Is the gasket sealing a big deal? Everything in the car is stock, so all the cowl parts are in-place. I assume that as long as the wipers working isn't compromised, it will just mean water and anything small enough to fit through the gap will just get into the engine bay. The gap is about 3/4 inch at its highest in the center of the windshield.

Is replacing it a challenge? It wasn't awful in my e46 (needed to get wiper puller tool), but here in Texas, I don't do car work until the temperature is less than 70 degrees in the garage.

Here's the ECS link: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...l/51717058220/
