For those who care or follow my coding thread, I've been pretty busy so wasn't able to try or figure out some codes I wanted.. but finally today I got the below completed and working on my car.. just an FYI I have not coded a 2011 car so I am not sure if any of these codes work (Require a updated version which I did get but need someone to test it on)
- Remove gong for the seat belts - Headlight Washers Disabled - Wiper wipes to End position after turning engine off - Auto Headlight Sensitivity adjustement from BC Button (For people with no idrive like me) - Disable windows safety feature (Opening doors will not interrupt window roll up operation. Normally, if you open a door while the window is automatically rolling up, it will stop the operation. This feature disables it. Let me know if you have any questions. |

You know how you can set your headlights to come on and off auto based on the brightness outdoors.. so at night the headlights come on.. and in daylight it turns off.. you can set how sensitive it is.. so I've got it where it has to be almost dark outside for the lights to come on.. sometimes it comes on mid day or when its cloudy outside which now it does not. Hope that helps lol..

Just an update.. found out I only have the coding cable that works with 2009 and older models.. I can modify it to work with 2010 and up but then won't be able to use it on my own car or older models.. so at this time I can only code for 2008/09 1 series members.. sorry for the inconvienece.
If there is a higher demand on coding newer models I will get the cable in the future but as of right now probably only 2 people msged me about 2011 models. |

depending how much volume you're getting at this point in time, it might be worth getting it now anyhow for the long term investment. Depending if you want to keep coding cars for the coming years anyhow... Sooner or later, people will want/need as the newer cars get older.

Just like mods for the new N55 engines.. not much out yet and when it does then we will deal with it. Got 4-5 2008-09s lined up.. so ya.. no 2010-11s.. so until I have a solid demand I will not order a new cable and modify it. |
