Beginning of season 1er meet - southern ontario

I'm out for the 11th Dan. Might be able to make it on the 4th though. Have people over and if I get them out of my house early enough I'm in.

ahh that sucks.. BMW track day? I guess we will have to see what everyone else thinks. hopefully ill have my new wheels on by the 4th.

New transmission is in. Works beautifully so far.

I could meet either the 4th or 11th.

I am good for the 4th, just got my car back from a new motor so itching to take it out!

Let me know where and what time, need to break that engine in!

Hopefully someone has a Bilstein pro-kit on theirs, I want to see one up close and getting some feedback before pulling the trigger.

I got a Bilstein B12 kit on mine, albeit a 128i, with dinan camber plates (so a bit higher up front).

Not sure if anyone actually met up today...I wasn't available..

We did not have a meet.. im contemplating just going with the original idea of having one in the morning of the season opener! Or just meeting at heartland town centre Thursday night!

Need more input from you guys!

There is a group full of enthusiasts called BMW True North.

Every year they hold multiple events, car shows, cruises etc.

There is a season opener meet a pfaff BMW Mississauga this Sunday from 11-4.

Highly recommend you join the group(Facebook) and come to the meet! It's always a fun time!


Also I'm all for meeting earlier in the morning like we had originally planned this Sunday!

Hopefully you make it this sunday if it happens, really want to have a look, i find it crazy that the car lowers another 40 mm according to the spec sheets, there is not a lot of room left there.

I may make it out to the meet at Pfaff, can't make a pre-meet because I'm busy in the morning.

The 40mm lower is from "non-sport", not from m-sport. M-sport lowers the car from non-sport by I think 25mm. So the B12 is 15mm lower than M-sport. Al 135is come by default with the "m-sport" suspension even if they don't have the m-sport package, so a B12 kit only lowers a 135i by 15mm max.

That makes a lot more sense to me, once I know this meet will happen for sure, I will keep an eye out for you at the pfaff meet. I have an alpine white 135 with a red interior, if you end up coming I will send you a PM with my contact info.
