Installed a Wagner catted DP (N55)

So my Wagner Catted DP finally arrived today and am in the process of getting it installed. I'm a little nervous of how loud it's going to be ( PE mids, Berk race exhaust) but as a weekend car, I hope I see some improvement in performance and exhaust note.

In regards to CEL, I know there is a possibility it'll throw a code, but I'm hopeful it won't. In the event it does, I should be emissions exempt this year and with the P3 Gauge, it should be able to clear the codes.

Excited to hear how it sounds and feels. I think I'm done (mods) for a while.

So...I just picked up the car from the dealership and drove it home. Initial impressions...I wouldn't say it's louder but it's a nicer deeper rumble. There's more snap, crackle and pop at decel...and throttle feels a little sharper. Attached is a video after warm up in my garage.

Hi Frank. Are you planning to get driving videos?

Did the drone increase?

I've been wanting to get a DP installed and was just worried how loud it will get. We pretty much have the same exhaust setup pre your DP install.

I heard the DP increases the pops and burbles so I'm excited for that.

I drove it a little on the highway, I found it droned less and It definitely burbles more. I'll post more tomorrow after I drive it more. My initial impression is I love the deeper sound.

I have 7k on my Wagner with JB4 & FBO including a Berk cat back. NO CEL to date.

So...I drove about 150 miles today and I gotta say the DP sounds amazing.

The good - it's a deeper sounding than before and sounds great every gear. I absolutely love how when downshifting from 3 > 2 and then staying off the gas, it burbles as the RPM's continue to drop. Also...knock on wood, no CEL code.

Wish I would've gotten it sooner!

Did you do WOT? I read about this DP on e90post, they said after doing WOT the CEL will come up after many WOTs. BTW, I'm interested in this DP as well if no CEL.

Did you do WOT? I read about this DP on e90post, they said after doing WOT the CEL will come up after many WOTs. BTW, I'm interested in this DP as well if no CEL.
I didn't do any WOT pulls come to think about it, but I did a few pulls to catch up to my caravan.

I think you can reach out to e82drifterential, he provided some feedback on this thread. He's had his DP on for 7k miles and no issue (CEL).

I went with the Wagner After a lot of research, and for some reason there was a good possibility that the Wagner wouldn't throw a code and seemed to be high quality.

Sound very good !!!! I delete my rear Exhaust and the car still very quiet and
my middle pipes are this ..i need to get the DP.

I have done a lot of WOT pulls, almost 8k miles now and I haven't had a CEL come on yet. I did have to extend the O2 harness a little bit.

So...since I got the exhaust work (minus the DP) I've been literally having to push my car out of the garage. Door open, shoulder on the A puller and pushhhhh. The reason being is, starting the car in the garage at cold start would literally shake my kids room which was right above the garage.

Now with the DP, I just did a cold start (no one was home) and it's gotta be 10-15% louder and deeper than before I guess I'm just gonna have to push it out of the garage in the mornings on nice days.

But it really does sound awesome now

P3 Gauge can clear the code, but you wont pass the emissions. Obd2 will be read "not read".

How and what did you extend the O2 harness for?
Did you pass the emission recently?

So...another update, unfortunately driving to work I got the SEL code. So after about 200 miles total, the SEL came on. I knew it was a possibility but was holding out hope. Luckily I have the P3 gauge and was able to clear it.
