Question 1: Will High gloss shadow line exterior finishers be available as an option to regular E90s as well, not just the M Sport versions?
Question 2: Will there be more phone cradles/adapters, for instance Sony Ericsson K700 (one of the most sold "professional" phones in Europe.

Will there ever be support for MP3 disks in the in-dash player with Nav/iDrive?
PS My question is about a USA version, so I guess that is the "Professional" Nav (I think). And also what's the future of iPod integration into iDrive?

thanks for doing that !
2 CRUCIAL questions for me : What BMW is gonna do with the 199 wheels (at the moment production has been stopped because of a problem with the rear tyres) ? (Is itOnlyl delay in production or are they gonna stop the production for ever ?) The future 325 XI (and apparently the 330 XI) will not have the sport suspension option. Is that true ? and if yes why ??? many thanks |

As far as I know the reason is the AWD is really supposed to be for bad conditions like snow ect, and sport suspension defeats the purpose Ill ask about the 199 wheels, and find out if the company here that makes BMW wheels make them aswell and can maybe give more info |

What are the recommendations for those considering switching to normal (non-run-flat) tires? A real answer that addresses issues such as unsprung weight and performance characteristics would be great.

If you are going to learn stuff from them, then they must know one hell of a lot. I would take their comments/speculations on tires as most useful info. I realize the difference between Rosslyn and Munich, but what are we likely to get from the center of our universe on this topic?

Ask them if they are aware of the many problems owners seem to be having with steering wheel/front end shimmy at highway speeds. There seems to be an inordinate number of negative experiences with this issue, and it appears that re-balancing the wheels does not correct the problem. Look at the thread on "front end shimmy".

Could you ask them if they are working on a fix for the small flatspots/hesitation in the Euro 2.5l engine's power curve and when it will be released?
Also, could you ask them if you need to warm the car up before driving at high RPM's - somewhere in this forum I read that this is no longer the case. |
