BMW miniatures
here's a few pics of the models available from BMW
1:18 scale pretty darn nice and they did a pretty good job on monaco blue I love that I can get scale models of the same cars that I actually have |

very nice - where and how much? I saw some miniatures at the BMW gift shop in Spartanburg SC last month when I was there to pick up my car but the miniatures looked very average if not crappy

Got mine in sparkling graphite from pacific bmw for $50 plus shipping. Really a nice and very detailed model.

Not sure who has the monaco blue for that price. Pacific only has the Tiag, Graphite, and the arctic. Other places are seeling them for $65 or more.

I made a thread in off-topic about them a while back but no one responded.
How do you think the paint quality is? I was looking to get one in arctic but don't want to get it and have the paint look like a flat silver or green or something. If it doesn't have the silver-gray-green-blue look to it, I don't think I want it.

I saw a Sparkling Graphite AND an Arctic in the lot this morning...STUNNING, with fresh rain on them.
The model looks VERY CLOSE to the real thing. Very BMWish in execution, are these models. |
