No fender rolling, it doesnt bother me that bad. It only rubs over HUGE bumps.

I think that's what I'm going to run on my setup. I'll have a different wheel but the front size and offset will be exactly the same. Good to know that he's got some rubbing up front. Do you think more camber would resolve that, Silverbullet?

225'd would be safer and would look fine on an 8.5 rim but I'd still go 235. Silver is saying he barely rubs on the front if overloaded, etc. I'm running 19x8.5 et43 on the front with 235/35 Falkens and I haven't rubbed yet but Falkens do run very narrow. Next tires I'll either use Nexens, Hankooks or Toyos probably and as of now I'd go 235 again. I've also heard of others with similar sizes not rubbing. It's just gonna come down slightly to tire choice and how low or loaded the car is. But the extra width up front will help our understeer problem. Plus a little camber would help if you still happen to scrub and that would help the understeer also.
Hopefully we'll keep updating the aftermarket wheel tires posts on here to get it down even to the tire what should fit since many of us are so close as is. |
