Aight what is the trick with these manual seats?
So i had to let someone in and out of my side from the back [usually i have people go on passenger side and climb over] however, when i went to but the seat back, the back part went back to normal, but the bottom cushion would not go backwards to where i had it previously set. needless to say i spent about 15 minutes re-adjusting my seat to perfection [i am absolutely picky about having just the perfect spot for performance]
how do i move the bottom cushion back to where it was when the seat is pulled forward by the lever on the top of the seat?

+1...i find it easier if i use one hand to pull the release lever at the top of the seat (to keep the back part from returning to its normal position), while i use my other hand to slide the entire seat back. this keeps the back part from going back to its normal position, which locks the bottom cushion at whatever position it happens to be at at that point.
i tried once to put the seat back using only one hand on the release lever, and it didn't really work very well...

This question has been asked and answered several times, please check your manual. But In a nutshell, always move the bottom cusion back then and only then tilt the backrest. Search function is your friend.

I had a similar problem just last night. Thanks for asking the question and for the answers. They helped me too.
