I tend to cruise a lot with the top down. But my performance exhaust always attrachs ricers for some reason. You guys have no idea how many stop light drags these people want.

I tend to ignore them, unless they are real assholes. Then I launch at the light take it to ~45 (in a 35) and take my foot of the gas. Flip em off as they drive by. Mission accomplished. One more jackass ricer put in their place.

The ricers, I usually ignore them, since I can beat the majority of them in my Focus.

I agree, they CONSTANTLY want to race.

Here's a tip to any ricer who is currently perusing this site: Just because you put a coffee can muffler on your car to make it loud and then a 1980's Stereo system and a silly Maaco paint job does NOT mean your car is cool! A 90hp Civic is NOT a race car! Now go home and listen to your mommy as she tells you to finish your math homework.

Getting on the highway is the best part of my daily commute...and it's usually over way too fast. After that the cruise control comes on unless I'm passing some turtle in the right lane. Of course I don't have my 128i yet...pick it up tomorrow!

Got a chance to run it up to 135 MPH on the Autobahn during our Euro Delivery week. Hitting the 155 MPH limiter would have been really easy, but the engine is still new.

I do less than 100 miles during the week so I always take it out for highway blasts on the weekend.

My 135i is my daily commuter so I drive with the flow of traffic. I do push it on the freeway on ramps if it is safe. I drive it hard on a mountain drives. Those yellow speed limit signs at the turns are only recommended speeds. I can still legally drive the 55 mph speed limit through turns so I can have fun on windy roads.

Every warm up is smooth and gentle. Once we've achieved proper temperatures the drive may continue peacefuly along unless/until certain 'opportunities' become apparent.
