Misfire? Help me

I have a misfire on cylinder 1. I swapped coils with cylinder 2 and the misfire remained at cylinder 1. Then I swapped spark plugs with cylinder 2 and the misfire is still currently at cylinder 1.

No limp mode, although once in a blue moon I see a fuel pump plausibility code come up for my car. Very rarely though.

The spark plug in cylinder 1 does not smell of fuel.

If the fuel pumps (either one) were bad, would I have a consistent code for fuel pumps? Also, if I needed new Vanos solenoids or a cleaning, would this also throw a code?

I have no code other than misfire which kinda leads me to believe it could need a walnut blast.

Any opinions? Thank you!
