my new 1M Coupe!

... made you look!

After a month of waiting, my 1/43 scale model of the new 1M Coupe arrived today (along with various other fun things from BMW!) It is a nicely detailed model, so I thought I would take some macro shots, using the E-P3, led macro lights and the 45mm F2.8 Leica lens. They turned out pretty well! Some of my favorites below.

I have not seen a Valencia Orange coupe up close in real life, so not sure how close the paint is. Ferrari sells beautiful models at their store in London that are painted with the same paint as the real cars. The difference? This model is about 60 euros, the Ferraris are more like 800 euros!

The model makes me want a real one, or at least a test drive! Hears hoping the next generation 1 series convertible is available as a full ///M, not just an M sport, like mine!
