It might not help you to know that Jade Grey is available in Canada for E92, but we don't get light poplar as a trim choice. Where's the rationale in this ?
Another strange anomaly is that several of the pre-production E92s shown in the "official" photos appear to have lemon/black interior. This is available in Europe and Canada for E90, but not for E92 !

Jade grey was never mentioned to be available in the US even in the original press release from april. Also those pictures of lemon are presumed to actually be jade grey as it is a really light grey that was overexposed to light in those pictures. Of course that could be wrong and they decided to throw lemon on the early build to show to the press.

Also about 230 wheels, these were also never mentioned in any US info. Only Canadian ordering guide and UK guide ever talked about these wheels. Of course the rest of europe will get them but for the US I don't think you guys will get them or Jade grey.

Arbitrage, think it will be possible to get the 230's special order? I don't understand why 19in wheels, regardless of style, would be offered to countries besides the US... I can understand if the specific 230 style was not offered but why not 19in wheels of any type??

Maybe the lack of 230s involves tire availability, or the lack thereof...

Maybe one of us here in Canada can order you a set, or maybe beg your dealer to order them. I would think 19s would be most popular in the US market

Within days??? Christ, now I'm all jittery and nervous. Which makes no sense because I'll probably wait and do an ED on this anyways (although if I end up test driving one this fall, I probably won't be able to wait till spring for an ED)

Are different automatic transmissions being used between the 328i and 335i? If you look at the tech data, towards the end, the automatic tranny adds 66lbs to the weight of the 328i. However, only 11lbs is added to the 335i.

Don't trust these color samples, the only things that looked well matched are the trims. Most of us have seen Blk Saphire in real life and it has no blue what so ever. That sample is more like what Monaco blue looks like in real life. Blk Saph = black with sparkles

I was thinking the same thing. 66lbs is the same difference in weight with the e90 325i auto vs. man as posted in the e90 product info training booklet. Maybe the 335 will get the new faster auto (with sport paddles if you choose ZSP) and the 328 will get the old transmission from the e90 325. I would have guessed this newer, faster step would be heavier but apparently its a lighter transmission. Then again the weight differences could be a typo.

I'm definitely not happy about not seeing the type 230's here. maybe they won't be available yet in the first production run. Black Sapphire is definitely not like the Carbon Black on the M3. It doesn't show any blue at all in bright sunlight or otherwise.

Seriously! I like your idea... I'm very upset that we don't get Style 230 wheels as an option in the US (if indeed true). I'll be calling BMWNA today to see if they know anything about it. Last time I checked with them a few weeks ago, they didn't know anything about the Style 230 wheel.

Where is the "sport tuned (lowered) suspension" in the sport package? Am I missing something - or is ZSP now just wheels and seats?

Look on page 10 of the new USA ordering guide, sport suspension is now standard on the 328i/335i.
