What Are They Called: 1M Wheels

I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I've been unable to find anything in the search,

What are the 1M wheels called (or do they have a part number)? And do they fit on a 135 without fender flares?

If not, is that style made in a size that does fit?

The 1M wheels (which are the same wheels that came on the E9x M3 w/ Competition Package) are the Style 359. I don't believe they will fit on a standard 1 Series (the offsets are way off).

Gotcha! Thanks!

I've seen similar wheels (last night actually) on a 135 on the next street over to me. The design looks similar, only they seem to have a slightly different center than 359 wheels ... the spoke pattern/design is very similar though. The car definitely has stock fenders/quarters though, so they mustn't be as wide.

Any idea what those might be? They definitely appear to be BMW wheels. I'll try and get a picture tonight.

The WIDTH of the rims are no problem. I have 1M width rims and same width of tires (245/265) on my 135. It is the offset that is completely different. Huge difference.

Good to know you can fit that wide of a tire in there, too.

There are a number of Y-spoke mesh wheels available...Google "CSL-style" or "CSL reps" or something like that, maybe.

They look very similar to the EC-7 rims I have on my car. Very common rim on the 1ers. Maybe this is the rim that you saw?

Yes, I think those are the wheels ... only in silver. I dig that look, big time.

Excellent ... Anthracite on a white car would look pretty baller.

They aren't THAT expensive either, all things considered!

There are often group buys on them here on the forum as well. Usually works out to buy 3, get 1 free.

Amazing deal.

Can't go wrong with APEX wheels - they make a great product. Nice looking, not too Terri my expensive, and functional (strong and light).

MightyMouseTech Can you post some additional pictures at some more angles? Curious of how this setup looks in a walk around.

Not much. It is my sisters. She bought it new in 97. Has not been driven in three years. Still looks like it came from the factory. Such a shame.
