What did you do to/for your 1er today?

Made a template of my vert trunk to use on the coupe trunk I bought. Will cut into it tomorrow and work on getting it fitted up. Excited to finally get around to doing this

Actually, the more I drive with the M3 front arms installed, the more difference I notice.

Made my final decision on new wrap color and scheduled to drop the car off July 3rd. They want the car for two weeks so I figured by the end of July I'll have the rest of it out together with all the new carbon pieces (and seats)

Not a common problem. Start by making sure it and the plug are clean, no grease or etc. After that new plug and or coil, do 'em all perhaps if it's time.

Well the coils are new pr coils...
The plugs are about a year old...

But I'll do my part and make sure everything is clean and seated properly and monitor it...

I have some old style pr wires you can have if that's what the problem is

I have relocated coils…
So they sit on the intake side…
I don't think those are long enough!

I'm gonna just remove those last two coils and reseat them…
It's happened to me with regular coils as well…
So either I'm not properly seating them or something else I haven't thought of…

Yes, thanks, she's fine. Checked out by the Rescue Squad and insisted on continuing to work. Though she is very sad about losing the car.

A friend totaled his E36 M3 Convertible at almost the same time. I passed his hulk being loaded on the wrecker as I went to help my wife. He got T-boned less than 5-miles away. Freaky Wednesday?

There is so much worth saving on the car. I'll have to see what the insurance company offers. Full-leather electric/heated sport-seat interior. M-door-sill plates, perfect hood, front bumper, front fenders, doors, etc. Not to mention a 110k engine that didn't burn a drop of oil. Not sure about the new BMW battery!
