Rikx1M on the Tail of the Dragon
Just spent a four-day weekend driving my ass off (1200 total miles) in eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina with 10 cars/friends from our Huntsville, Alabama's BMW club and about 60+ cars in the ///Mvading the Dragon group. The Tail of the Dragon has more than 300 curves in 11 miles/18km. What a drive that all of you should plan if you visit the eastern United States. Here are some photos from day one...the drive to the Tail and scenic stops along the way. More to follow......

As far as my thoughts, I think with tighter suspension, giving me flatter entry and exits, those 300+ curves wouldn't have been so challenging. this is really a very tiring road, when driven spirited. I'll post up a video from day 1 on my youtube channel. Rikxvideos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYd...Onpjmy5puk6S-g
