Up for sale is my 2011 BMW 128i with 74k miles, with a 6 speed manual transmission and Crimson Red exterior over Boston Beige interior. Car is the rare/coveted single hump & slicktop configuration, and options include Xenon headlights and Harmon Kardon audio. The only modifications include a 1.25” hitch for the bike rack and 35% tint. CA smog certificate and clean CA title are in hand.

Extensive maintenance has been performed over my 7 years of ownership, with records going back to when it was new. Preventative maintenance has been performed as if I were to keep the car for forever (all fluids, spark plugs & ignition coils,brakes, filters, belt, etc) with all OEM or OES parts. Blackstone oil analysis reports are available for all but 1 oil change during my ownership. The 128i has also received biannual wheels-off details (AmmoNYC & Griot’s are my go-to products), including synthetic wax sealant, wheel wax, leather conditioner, etc.

Car is ready to go, everything works, no dashboard lights, etc. In terms of wear & tear and future needs, the tires are down to 2/32” and if the next owner is as meticulous & particular as me, you’ll want to choose which tires to install anyways. Despite that, I would feel comfortable driving the car as-is across the country, but would be careful if standing water or heavy rain storms occur. However, if it’s a concern then I’m happy to coordinate (at buyer’s expense) installing new tires before a “fly & drive” buyer picks it up. The A/C system has a small pinhole leak in it and my mechanic (BMW specialist) recommended that I just recharge it every 18 months or so; it blows cold now though. Lastly, wheels have a bit of curb rash and there’s some touched up paint blemishes & rock chips (AmmoNYC/Larry Kosilla’s Loew Cornell fine paint pen method) so they don’t stand out.

Selling it due to my wife becoming recently disabled and we need to free up some capital to cover the associated medical expenses, and as this is the secondary car for the family it needs to go. The garage mates over the years include a 2007 BMW Z4 3.0si coupe 6MT, 2007 Porsche Cayman S 6MT, 2014 BMW 328i xDrive SportsWagon; I’m a German car enthusiast so the 128i has been in good company over the years. While it’s possible to find a cheaper BMW 128i 6MT, you won’t find one as well cared for and in this kind of mechanical condition!
