My AC Schnitzer is only a end-muffler. It is a straight pipe design, with only noice redusing material. They call it 'Schalldempfer' (=noice reductor). I have the stock cats. The noice reduction only works when the muffler is warm/hot. A cold start sounds like there is no muffler at all! Extreem loud. absolutely not nice IMO. But when the muffler is warm, it is ok.

I've decided to go ahead and order the Dinan exhaust since I'll be able to get the 15% off. I'm going to stop by the dealership after work today and place the order. I don't know how long it'll take to get here, but I plan on taking pics of the install.

The PP exhaust = the stock exhaust. Only the sound of the PP is retuned. The PP is not a free flowing exhaust. Maybe the Dinan is?

$1000 for 2-5Hp? Have at it guys. I laugh a little every time I see one of these Dinan threads.

I would think that it's implied that a catback exhaust is for sound only. I'm not satisfied with the stock exhaust note, so I'm taking action on changing it. I'm not sure what there is to laugh at, but have at it.

Also, I don't recall laughing when your warranty was voided, but thanks for extending me the courtesy.
