Worried my electric water pump isn't working...
Recently I've noticed that the noise associated with the electric pump cooling the turbo's after driving for a while is gone now. It might be because it's cold outside and the car senses that it will cool on its own but I'm worried there may be something wrong. Anyone else notice in cold temps the electric pumps aren't active after shutoff?

Well I went to the BMW dealership to ask about this and get my 3rd brake light fixed and apparently when the battery is low the computer automatically turns off non-essential equipment that uses electricity so the car can start. I had them recharge the battery and presumably the electric pumps that cool the turbos will re-activate. I had the yellow battery light icon show up recently but it went away. Hope this cleans up things for others.

What sound is it supposed to make? I get this sound kinda like steam being let off every 30 seconds or so after turning the car off sometimes. Is that it?
