PLX Devices Gauge

Anyone tried this:

http://www.plxdevices.com/products/dm200obd/

Looks pretty sweet (apart from the ghetto site) and has a vac/boost module so you can pipe in that info too...

The actual display electronics are pretty small - I reckon you could fit it in one of the vents no probs...

EDIT: here's one that's been ghetto-spliced into a mustang's rear view mirror: http://www.tricktuners.com/dm-200_pictures.htm

We met them at SEMA. They were nice people, and their products looked great.

Rcracer - that a good or a bad thing?

Thanks for the chip-in Anthony, I think I might order one soon...

Plan is to take it out of its enclosure and pop it in the vent a la the rixeffex (sp?) stealth gauge. It certainly looks small enough to do that...

I use their AFR ratio feeding a data logger (not on the 135i), and it is a great product that is accurate and good value. I can only assume their other products are the same.

PLX has some good devices. I've used their wideband o2 sensor (placed in the glovebox) which was great, and used their wideband to narrowband output to use a non-wideband Defi a/f gauge (on the dash) all with no problems and great results!

I have put PLX gauges in RX7's and Supra's, and they always worked well. I have not used this particular gauge, but my experience with PLX is great

I mentioned vishnu uses it as you might be able to contact him for more info, or see posted reviews on e90post...It's neither good or bad.
