this photo although not so great is a good representation of the real colour to our human eyes.

its a metallic copper which is closer to orange than it is the orange in the honda element.

This is my buddy John's photography site: ExiFocus

His pics do a great job of depicting the tone and hues of the car. You can't get a good feel on just how much metallic flake is in there, but shy of getting the car out in the sun and shooting from the right angles, I'm not sure it'd be easy to capture that...

Trust me, you won't regret your choice.
Seems like this video shows quite good its look in person.

Garage List
I think this car will be crushed eventually by BMW, as it won't be sold in this form in the US. They needed to add the corner amber reflectors and MPH sppedo as obviously the car drove down from NJ to FL (perhaps longer), so it had to be 'street legal' (more or less). But halogen lights aren't even a no-cost option, so recon this is a late model but nevertheless semi-prototype. It certainly is not the one from Detroit as it doesn't have the PDC, washers/jets, and of course headlights.

This color needs to be seen in person to be appreciated it seems. Depending on the light/camera, it can appear anywhere between brown and red. The shot on the highway (where the driver gives a thumbs up) is a good example of how different the paint looks under various light conditions (notice the side below the beltline crease is very rich where the sun hits it directly, and in other spots where the light falls in a non-direct agnle it has that characteristic burnt orange look).
