My new boost gauge- SpeedHut.com

I ordered a new boost gauge for the E82 and didn't expect it to arive for a month because they make them custom. A week later I received the gauge and it is better than expected. On their site you can pic all your colors (background, lights, letters etc.) then you can put logos, pictures or like I did, your own words.... I will definately buy from this place again and if you need any gauges I would check them out....

My current one is in the ashetray but I think this one is going down in the lower lefthand corner by the windsheils and A-pillar.....

I know, but that was the only choice except for 60psi.... I currently have a 15psi and it almost pegs it so it will be nice to see if it ever spikes higher... Plus this one has a limit light that warns you if you are going to high...

What are you using to hold it to the dash?

Thanks..

Pressure... When you wire it us you run the wires up threw were the a pillar is. I then covered the wires with loom and taped it off at the end with about four inches of black tape. When you put the A-pillar cover back in, it slides forward pulling the wire loom toward the winsheild. As it does this it draws the gauge in and holds it between the windsheild and dash. It is snug and will not move whatsoever......

It's so dark I can hardly read the numbers off the guage. Any illumination and/or glare protection?

Its digital and lights up red... The flash on the camera kept messing up the pictures... It is very easy to read in the car except when the sun reflects off of it. You can get a sheild for it but I have not ordered one yet.... Also If I were to do it again, I would go with white letters and red lights...

Maybe someone can correct me on this, but aren't all gauges in race cars calibrated such that the optimal reading points straight up? I thought this was so that the driver could easily determine if the car is operating abnormally.

Anyways, having 15psi being the 12 o'clock measurement it fine with me
