Riss Racing Exhaust Installed VERY Impressed
I got the Riss Racing exhaust installed today and WOW. I am very very impressed with everything that it has to offer. Heres the list of mods that I have so far: RR Intake, RR Catless Downpipes, RR O2 sim, RR CDV and JB3. so I knew it was going to be good but I didn’t know that it was going to be perfect.
I was originally concerned about it being too loud and it droning, especially since I am running catless. Driving around with it today, though, I was able to easily talk with a friend in the passenger seat with both the windows up and down – No drone in any gear what-so-ever. It’s not too loud either. It is exactly what I wanted in regards to sound. It has a good throaty tone and now the turbos can be heard throughout the entire RPM range. Also, there has been no issues with smell with the catless setup. You can just tell that the car is running so much more effiecient - In fact, I am averaging 3mpg better. I used to average 28mpg and now I am getting 31mpg! The power is just amazing! When entering a freeway today, I punched the throttle when cruising at 45mph and my traction control light flashed in the dash. It’s like getting downpipe gains a second time. It is so fast that under acceleration it is hard to keep my neck straight. I need to get a dyno. I am expecting the numbers to be between 380-400whp. As always the service from Riss Racing has been amazing – great products and very responsive Forgot to mention it looks and fits amazing. Craftsmenship is first class as expected. Here are some pics of it installed – I will get some video/sound clips and Dynos up soon: Attachment 13301 Attachment 13302 Attachment 13303 Attachment 13306 |
