I want to go ahead and get the exhaust now, however, i live where this will probably be the dealers 1st and last time doing such a thing. Should that worry me?

My understanding is that the installation instructions are very clear, and since you get the factory warranty, everything should be covered if anything goes wrong. Are you worried about something specific?

Have Fun,
Rick

Not really, they're still BMW Techs...if you are that worried about it, go to a reputable muffler shop or mechanic...

If someone messes up the installation of a bolt-on exhaust, they should kill themself...

If you have a set of dive up ramps, you can do it yourself in 30 minutes with extremely basic tools...

BMW perf exhaust isn't bolt on, it is welded. But it would still be very hard to screw up.

It's not exactly bolt on. You need to cut your factory B-pipe to fit the BMW Perf exhaust. Regardless, your dealer should be able to handle the install.
