Which bov? Install?
Hi guys, i read a lot on this forum. I'm new in the BMW. I'm buying a 2009 135 with the m package. I would like to know, what are the best bov for this car? And is it like any other turbo car where you buy only a bov and install it, or If you have other things to install? Because I saw on burger tuning website like a package for the bov. The tial or something like that?any explanation for this. Thank you guys for answering. I'm from Montreal, and there is no forum like this in Quebec so I'm taking my answer over here with you guys.
For the exhaust, I was looking for the BMW performance, with the jb4 stage 3, and probably a downpipe, and it will probably stop there for performance for the first year. So if you guys have any tips for me, on wich brand go with, what piece to install, I will take everything Thanks you guys!

Factory chargepipe is connected to diverter valves, that recirc the pressure, so it wont work with a bov like tial, synapse, etc. Youll need to buy an aftermarket chargepipe with the bov welded on, there are numerous options, ER seems to be the most popular. Do a little searching around and youll find almost everything youre looking for.

A lot of people go this route:
http://www.shop.stettperformance.com...c?productId=10 And I must say, it's one of the best sounding BoVs I've ever heard. |

And I got the Stett with Forge DVs because I wanted a more stealthy car. You still hear more of a blow-off sound, but nothing like the BOVs that vent into atmosphere.

Alright! Seems like the one on that site is pretty nice. Not too loud, just enough with a clean sound. Looks like its gonna be my first choice! Does the one on burgertuning is good too?

I've heard good things about the BMS chargepipe, generally speaking Terry puts out really good stuff, and has supported the N54/5 community as well if not better than any other company out there. BMS or STETT would be good choices, though there are plenty of other ones as well.

I want something that your can hear. is it possible to buy the an aftermarket chargepipe and then buy another bov like the hks one, and install it on the chargepipe ? the pieces are most expensive then on a mazdaspeed haha !

Yeah I know that everything is gonna be more expensive! But it absolutely worth it! You can't compare a Mazda to a BMW! And thanks you for answering me. As you can see, I'm new in the bmw, so I'm learning everyday about this amazing car! Here is another question, probably stupid for everybody, but anyway. Where does the downpipe is situated on the car. Because I see downpipe, mid pipe, exhaust, I know way the exhaust is. Just like headers, does the downpipe is after the exhaust line?

Ah ok thanks! Looks pretty logic! Thanks you all of you guys for answering this post! I'm gonna get my bov then the jb4 stage 3 with the downpipe, and maybe an exhaust, but I will go with a nice wheel and suspension set up before!
