My 2005 118i

Hi, New to the forums around here, thought I'd say hello and share my bmw 118i.
Brought this car as my first car, It was in bad condition when I got it and had many oil leaks which I'd get fixed and a new one would appear. Finaly after many dollars later, gaskets replaced, oil sumps replaced, it doesnt leak oil anymore. It was the only 1er with leather seats in my price range at the time. The exterior color is really odd, I don't see many 1 series with this blue/grey around here. Love my one series, Doesn't have the most powerful engine but drives really nicely.

Recently I replaced the chrome grill with a nice black one, that really makes a diffence. I am hoping to get some 18" matte black gtc wheels to replace these odd looking flower petal spoked stock ones.

Got a new set of wheels a few months ago, thought I'd share here as there isn't many examples of a 1er hatch with the csl style wheels on here. The wheels are GTC GT-CX 18' in matte black.
I love the deep concave on them. They have the 9.5 offset which the tyre shop didn't think would fit on my E87, but jason (the seller) insisted that they fit and they fit perfect.
So far they have curbed a little bit unfortunately becuase I crashed into the curb next to the ticket machine in a carpark, which is incredibly noticable with the black finish (not when I took these photos) The 4 wheels were about $999AUD.
I think there a big improvemnt over my previous stock wheel which I didn't like at all. Now all I want is a 6cyl engine, might have to wait till I can afford a 125/135i!

Looks great. I like the new wheels. I really wish BMW brought the 5 door hatch to the states.

You see... we in the US wish we could get that body and do N54 swaps to it.

Looks great!

Hah! halfway across the world, I have an opposite view and would like a coupe but they are so rare over here and sell at a premium compared to their 5 door hatch counterpart and its standard 120i's. To me the E87 should've just been a coupe, the rear leg room is so small why bother with a back doors? Its almost like a TT. Maybe its just that I'm tall and when I'm comfortable there is little space behind me

i Understand that, especially since i’ve sold the car and my partner has brought a 120i hatch. It doesn’t have great leg room, yet the coupe is even worse (I own a 125i coupe) 5 door is more convenient if you have regular back passengers but yeah if you are above 6’ or your passengers are... go for something else, you wont like it room wise.

I love the clear headlights on your car.

I don't like the amber colored turn signals we have here in the US version.

I didn’t realise the AUS/EURO versions had different lights. I was always disappointed on that car I had the halogen standard lights as I wanted the halos. I got the Halos with xenon and the eyebrow LCI daytime light on my e82 125i. They look fantastic but if you have an issue with the self leveling lights computer wise... it costs $2000 to replace. That I unfortunately had to do.

The BMW 118i M Sport is the best version to go for if you're unsure which will work for you.
Check: Whtaspp pro
It has plenty of performance - 0-62mph takes 8.5 seconds - and delivers decent fuel economy of between 42.2 and 47.1mpg. And because it's a petrol, it's quieter and smoother than the diesel versions around town.

It was punchy enough for your typical family hatchback, but I don't think it would be pulling many punches in the 'hot hatch' sector.

In the ultra-competitive arena of the premium family car, the BMW 1 Series is right up there, but it's not the best (that's the Audi A3).

This is the most valuable car I have ever seen in my life. Comfort, drive, fuel economy is amazing.
Check: Picsart Premium apk
I didn't notice any downsides that would make me skip this option. Its profile rim and road grip are dear to my heart.
I am very impressed with this model.

If you're still unsure about the BMW 118i M Sport, just think of it like a fancy sandwich. It's got plenty of performance (meat), good fuel economy (lettuce), and runs smoother than the diesel version (mayo). Yum!

The vehicle in question boasts impressive performance, with the ability to go from 0 to 62mph in just 8.5 seconds. Additionally, it offers decent fuel economy, ranging from 42.2 to 47.1 miles per gallon. Furthermore, as it is a petrol engine, it operates with less noise and more smoothly than diesel versions, particularly when driving around town.
