Lug bolts

Picked up some used Beyern wheels. Anyone know if I need special bolts for those or will the factory ones work?

This is an interesting question I pondered recently when ordering spacers. BMW wheels are probably pretty standardized across the line, but how do we know the thickness of aftermarket hubs? If the hub of a Beyern wheel is 5 mm thicker than a typical BMW wheel then you need a 33 mm bolt and not a 28 mm. The only way to know is to try a standard bolt to make sure it just barely goes through the wheel hub and doesn't protrude too much.

BMW OE wheel bolts are conical seat. Looks like Beyern wheels are as well, you should be good to go with the stock bolts. Plus Beyerns are made specifically for BMWs so it seems like they have done their homework on the proper fitments.

You should be fine with 5mm spacers on standard bolts, at least according to standard wisdom. Turner Motorsports includes longer bolts in all their spacers thicker than 7.5mm.

I'm currently using 12.5mm spacers currently with long ass bolts on stock offset wheels.
