Instead with Winkfp, I understand you can flash in for example the TCU coding that comes on an N54 335is with a stock launch control of 5k RPM, or flash in the 135is, which apparently makes the shifts smoother and faster (people have reported very smooth shift into reverse, instead of the usual clunk we feel). If you're interested, PM me and I can try to send you the threads I've read. I'm still trying to do research and figure this stuff out but I'm sure there are a lot of people here that already know how to do this. |

I am a plus 1 on that DCT flash option. Any kind of customization is greatly appreciated. Twisted Tuning and WedgePerformance is there any possibility I can run the e50 map with a stock lpfp? I would like to try it out.

Over boosting to 22+ PSI in 3rd & 4th gear then going into limp mode. Doesn't do it in 2nd.
Just replaced the Boost Solenoid thinking that was the cause, but still getting the same results. Where else should I start looking? 2nd Gear Log: https://datazap.me/u/nottatroll/log-...og=0&data=3-14 3rd Gear Log: https://datazap.me/u/nottatroll/log-...og=1&data=3-14 |

Steven Brachulis @ WedgePerformance Racing was able to add the VCV tables to our maps which allows for us to run higher ethanol content on the early N55's with rotary fuel pumps to include the upgraded piston style pumps at newer cars. So yes, we can run e50. We are also working with Spool Performance on a few pump upgrades for both rotary and piston style pumps to increase fueling with DI only. Was about to remove my JB4 and install my MHD. I thought I should test the connection first and it says no cable detected with the ignition on. Brand new cables just got them today.
Help. |

I get that occasionally when I go back and further with the cold start noise reduction setting and find that simply leaving everything connected and turning the car off then back on and the phone/app sees the cable. I just figured that out by trying a few different things because I know my cable is good. Good luck.

Where did you buy your cable from? I had that issue with the first cable I bought from Amazon. After the first one I said screw it and just bought one directly from Bimmergeeks.

Got it off amazon but returned it today after it didn't work and ordered a twisted tuning cable. |

Would it be safe to say then that if you've replaced your HPFP you probably are running the newer version then? I replaced my pump in my 2011 (2010.09.24 production date) with a replacement from FCP Euro so I assume I have the newer version now?...

If someone can check my log please that would be great!
https://datazap.me/u/adamlender/new-...12-17&mark=114 I've been chasing issues for the last three weeks. Just replaced the turbo outlet (to hot side IC) pipe today and I'm finally hitting target now. I'm still seeing the boost taper more than I'd like and WGDC is very very high, I think. Can someone confirm this still doesn't look great? I did have to let off the throttle a bit late in the pull, there was something in the road, but I went back to full send shortly after letting off a bit. Thanks in advance! |

G'day Eh!
I just acquired a 2011 135i. From what I am reading in this thread, I would not need to pull the ECU out to bench flash it. Am I correct? |
