Ok so car was performing flawlessly on stock boost/stock settings. Threw the JB4 back in and the issues returned, even when it was off. The car even completely stalled twice.
So now I'm thinking 1 of 3 potential issues: 1 - JB4 improperly configured 2 - JB4 harness or connector somewhere is loose/otherwise bad 3 - Bad install of JB4 on my part in one way or another Or a combination of the above. Any input is welcome. Also accepting cyanide pills.

The PPK gives a modest HP boost, and it's a BMW tune. On a price to benefit ratio, it probably isn't worth it, but I also have zero concern about it other than perhaps needing to change the spark plugs more frequently.

Thanks Esteban, for any tune other than JB4 I have to do this, on top of whatever tune I get, which is a lot of money, voids my warranty, and is otherwise not worth the effort to me.

That is indeed a pesky detail...
One I pretty much always forget about, being an '09. Not sure I'd want to send mine out, considering the condition many packages are in when they arrive at my house...

Matticus, I'd love to help but I am unfamiliar with the N55 JB4. It sounds like you have a problem with the firmware and settings being mismatched.
My recommendation is to send an (1) email to Jon@burgertuning.com

Dinan doesn't require the DME to be shipped out. Took about an hour if I remember correctly for the indie in Rockville to install the tune. I waited for them to do the tune. I was also pleasantly surprised they took my car in immediately when I was only there to inquire about the tune. And as far as warranty, I had no issues dealing with the same dealership we both go to.
