So true. I lived in the Northeast in the 1990's, and had access to several PBS networks on the radio. They demonized Newt Gingrich, and every time the guy spoke publicly they had a "news story," but never played the actual speech or even a part of it- they simply talked over him and "discussed" it. It was clear they just wanted to railroad him out of office.

I'm not a fan of Newt at all, but that's not acceptable from any news outlet - much less a taxpayer-funded one.

Perhaps you need to get better at recognizing the difference between hard news reporting and opinion?

ALL the major networks (Fox, CNN, MSNBC) broadcast a lot of opinion programs. It pays the bills after all.

I don't watch that much, but read a lot of articles. Predominately Apple news, which includes CNN, Fox, NYT, wsj, WAPO, and many others. I also read news from the BBC app and the Associated Press app.

That's a great point - where Trump has innovated is that he lies on EVERY topic rather than just a few, and at orders of magnitude greater than any than has come before him.

Tell ya what, why not let the investigations proceed until we know what happened? Attacking the free press in our country is a sure sign there is something wrong.
