2010 128 track beast
Hey all, I am going to be doing a full run of endurance racing next year, and have decided that I will not have nearly the time for TT that I had planned. This car has been a bit of a headache for me, but I feel like I have finally gotten everything straightened out, and pretty much where I want it. I ran at Hallet last weekend in 94 degree weather, and did not have even the slightest hiccup. https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show...4#post23679854 Here is the build thread for the car. It is very fast as it sits, and there are numerous improvements yet to be made. Set up for TT5 in NASA, but could easilygo to TT4, and probably be more competitive. Has already won a few TT's in it's first year, with some track records. Willing to deliver anywhere in the lower 48. AST 5200's Bimmerworld spherical front and rear arms M3 lower arms Aluminum front calipers Brake ducting Oil cooler Bimmergeeks coded corbeu seats Torsen LSD Condor solid mounts for everything All maintenance utd, lots of new OEM stuff, etc. This is a very tight, delightful car to drive. Also, FYI-Nothing will be parted. I will either sell the whole package, or I will keep it. I honestly don't want to sell that bad, but my team is talking about one endurance race a month next year, and we work on the car at my place, so having one less car is infinitely more convenient.

Bumpskies.
A couple other items of note, I do have the full interior for the car, so it can easily be converted to a DD if that is desired. It is first and foremost a track car, but it is licensed and streetable. So far this year, have run: 1:39.701 Mid-O pro course 1:56.799 at HPT full course 54.299 at Iowa Speedway 2:29 at NCM (This was my first time in the car, so kinda slow) 1:28.1 at Hallet (backward - clockwise) 1:46.8 at Raceway Park of the Midlands |

Mileage is about 70k. Not sure exactly, but >70, <75.
This is the only interior shot I currently have. I will work on getting some more. This is in the middle of putting everything together, so not the best representation. |

Updated with interior pics. Sorry for the garbage quality, and for the condition of the garage. It was kind of a rush thing to get these done. Also, I took the shift knob off, and forgot to put it back before pictures.

Bump time. I still have this. Open to offers, trades for E30, E36, or pre-80's BMW's. Would also consider miatas in good condition.
I am still building a Z3 racecar, but should be done in a few weeks. I will clean the 128 up and get some photos with an actual camera then. |
