'13 NAV/HK stereo........strange issue?
I didn't see this in a search, or perhaps I didn't search for the correct term:
I've noticed roughly half the time I get in the car and start it, the radio is no longer on the station it was when I parked and turned the car off. It's like there isn't a station selected or it's gone up or down a few .X so when the car turns on the radio is blaring static until you pick a station again. Anyone run into this? Is it a weak battery perhaps? |

I have this happen too sometimes. If you have a weak station the digital tuner may not be able to pull it up and may push you to a different station. The tuner blocks non-available stations unless you are using the manual tuning function.
Mine comes up randomly too. It normally starts up in the navigation screen, but sometimes it's partially in the navigation screen with the left side slid over half-way into the display. Sometimes it shows the info warning, sometimes it doesn't. Unless your preset stations are completely missing (low battery) I would just consider it bad coding maybe and move on.... -Sam |
