Data logging canbus/obd2
Anyone data logging at the track?
I have a racecapture mk2 and I"m data logging canbus, obd2 and a couple analog sensors on my R53 mini. OBD2 is too slow for most things, except nice to have like IAT, anyone else pulling canbus? If so what channels are you logging? Hoping oil pressure is easy to get, aim dl did not have it listed but did have quite a few other channels

from what I found there is no pressure sensor, just an idiot light sensor that triggers at like 7psi

N54 doesn't support it nor has it been patched for it. If enough people hound MHD, they'll do it. Until now, they don't really give a shit about anything except straight line performance. Took a couple posts years ago to give us waterpump control when it was already in public XDFs.

MHD cant fix it, there is no pressure sensor on the engine. It has an on/off switch that triggers at 7psi but that's it

They *can* if they use a "spare" 0-5v input and N55 sensor. It's the same thread IIRC.
But everyone just wants to use ethanol and flex fuel. As I said, they only care about the masses. |
