question about storing brake disks

I have AP Racing aftermarket rotors and the OEM rotors are sitting in cardboard boxes in my garage. I will probably be storing them for several years until or when I sell my 1M.

I noticed they are starting to get ugly so what is the best way to store rotors to prevent rust and metal damage over the years in case I want to return to OEM?

Thx in advance

Just be sure to clean it off before putting the rotors back into service.
