Pure Stage 2 N54 + Cobb only

I've been running the Cobb stage 2+ aggressive and the E30 tune for a long time, FBO no cats etc. I have PS2 turbos on the way now though. I get that Cobb can't max these turbos out but I don't have the fueling for that at the moment and I'd like to be able to have the car running pretty well once it's back together. I'm doing a bunch of diy maintenance and walnut blasting now. After the turbos and inlets I'm going to do the 450 lpfp. I'd just like to stick with the Cobb until I free up more funds/motivation for port injection along with the JB4 etc. Just wondering if anyone has any advice on where to start with the new turbos? Or where I might find a tune that could work best for this situation? Also what should I be watching out for most in the logs? Thanks

I ran my Cobb v2/maxboost combo on my VTT S2+/MOTIV PI set-up with no issues.

Since Dzenno@PTF had me up to 25psi before we started running into fueling issues (not tuning), I don't think Cobb is as obsolete as some would suggest.

That being said, my Stage 2 LPFP starts dipping at ~23psi so I would suggest a Stage 3 unit if you're looking to push those turbos.

Thanks man. After reading some PTF stuff last night I figured it was pretty hopeless and decided to sell the Cobb and just get JB4. Now you have me wondering if I read outdated info. Do you know of any DIY's for the stage 3? I'd hate to spend $850 on 2 $100 pumps.

Look into the JB4 with back end flash.. Great combination, especially for upgraded turbos.

I don't think there are any DIYs unfortunately. There's a new company looking to develop a Stage 3 product if you're willing to wait though.

Okay cool, then I think I'll just do the DIY stage 2 myself and wait and see what happens. I could be 100% wrong but I don't see a good reason for the cost of those kits other than big profit from the only available option and I don't like to support that any more than I have to.
