Surging on throttle and letting off
I am not sure what is going on with my 135. N54 6mt. I took the following logs just driving home from the supermarket. I would just tap the throttle lightly and it would surge like when I had m mode enabled which I hated.
Stage 2+ v10. Jb4 and no lift shift relay installed but it's been installed for years and is in map 0. I'm not sure the best way to narrow down what is going on. At high rpm's if you take your foot out of the pedal it's surgy/jerking like it's doing something too rapidly no matter what I do with the throttle, on or off. This is my first log I bought the monitor module for this issue, so if I need to do anything differently please let me know. https://datazap.me/u/darkrom/surging...8;data=3-16-20 |

I've been wondering what a bad accel pedal does. Have had issues like this and when the jerking, surging happens my logs look like yours. Never caught them as clearly as you though.
For me what triggers it is part throttle feathering. Feels like the pedal itself goes to like 1/1000 of it's travel with 100% sensitivity so tapping it at all is WOT, have to let off completely and let the drivetrain settle for a second and then it's gone. Have you tried anything to fix it?

I don't recall this ever happening before testing m mode, and v9 was once really smooth to me, so I'm going to flash v9 and see if it's the same thing. Interestingly it seemed resolved after a reflash of the tune and throttle adaptation, but then by the second drive it was back for sure. I don't really know what to make of it but it's very unpleasant to drive. |

So far driveability is way better on v9. It's almost like the issue is still there now that I'm looking for it but the map is smoother or less aggressive somehow.
I'd love to know what if is if others are able To enjoy the v10 maps. If there's an underlying issue I'd like to fix it. |

It's completely drivable and actually seems nearly if not completely resolved in the v9 tune. So I'm guessing it might not even be a hardware issue? |

I've had multiple people tell me my issue is 100% tuning related. I tend to agree there's nothing else to inspect or replace. Hardware wise it's great. And it's a small nitpick anyway. Car is a fucking beast.

I'm now having this on v9 and it's driving me crazy.
https://share.icloud.com/photos/074M...Hg1unYC-kPtA-A I don't recall this ever happening before trying "m throttle" which I hated on my car. I turned it back off. M throttle felt very similar like the pedal was just an on off switch. It now surges on and off throttle I thought it was just on v10 but now it's on v9 as well. Would love any suggestions because the car isn't even worth driving like this it's so jerky. It seems like Reflashing a tune fixes it for a few drives but it feels like it is relearning to drive terrible. Help! |

I did. It makes me wonder what the fix is. V9 used to be good since whenever that map came out. The only changes were mhd+ and trying m throttle and not liking it. I don't remember throttle issues before m mode throttle. I wonder if it is possible it can get "stuck on" with some weird bug or something.

Yeah I gotta see how mine is once it comes back from the shop, had some reconfiguration done to the turbos. If my throttle twitchiness is still there I'll join ya.

They actually were super responsive and sent me a beta app to flash (need an android device) so I'll test that tonight. I expect it to be initially good either way since Reflashing smoothed it out temporarily always, but I'll drive the car more than I usually do to see if it maintains it.

Second day driving on the beta app flash, surging as bad as ever. Car is undrivable this way. I really hope they can figure this out or it looks like my options are stock tune (not happening) or back to jb4 tuning which I do not want to do.
Extremely frustrating. |
