That video was spot on! I noticed that 8 years later the reviewer comments about the seats being a bit high. I wonder if he knows the manual seats take care of that problem?
Well done. |

this car doesn't need any more reviews.....it's already a classic doesn't need the same shit to be regurgitated by different voices!

That said, I simply love the 1M. So full of character, the kind of je ne sai quai that cannot be copied. |

I like the concept (great road + great car), 4K quality, and I think Dan is better than most....
These car videos are extremely satisfying to watch, JMO. Even more so, when a car that I love is being filmed from angles that I never see whilst driving. The more vids like this, the better, from my point of view. |

I don't see people doing reviews of the M2 in 8 years -- it says a lot that retrospective reviews of the 1M are still being done. BMW (and we) stumbled onto something special that occupies a unique place in time and history.

How many reviews do you see where the reviewer declares the car they’re testing the epitome of driving quality, then when the new model comes out, manages to find the new one so much better and proceeds to point out all the flaws in the previous model? That’s progress sir, yes things tend to get better, Corollas are much safer than they were 20 years ago, but 20 years ago they were the safest cars on earth. (You know what I mean) So when an 8 yo car is reviewed in context with the current crop of cars all with the benefit of another 8 years of research and development behind them to make them better, it’s a true testament to what this car really did bring to the market. I for one am extremely grateful for these insights since I don’t get to spend a day with every new car that hits the market to compare. Last edited by Goombeh; 06-12-2019 at 07:40 AM.. |

Great review!
Agree with all your comments. It is actually astounding that this 8 year old car is still getting new reviews! I mean it's actually unheard of honestly. BMW really made something special and we are lucky enough to be part of that 😎 |
