poll: Comfort access

is it worth waiting for 2+ months to have comfort access/pdc equipped in your car?
I finally found the car with everything I want except those two options, sittinig at port. So I am torn...
I saw the video of comfor access on the forum, it does look cool, convenient feature, but ordering from a scratch to waiting another 2 months would be killing me. And since I just sold my previous car, I might rent a car for about a month. (I can cover one month of wait with my brother's car.)
What would you do? Please give me some insight.

Couldn't wait...had to have the car now!

You are right, seems like a neat feature but if you need the car then...I would just buy it now.

I ordered on July 18th to take advantage of the price protection from the September 1 increase. I won't take delivery until the 2nd week of October because I ordered the Comfort Access. To me, the start/stop button is pointless without CA and the convenience is with the unlock/lock feature is nice.

So, I will have gone almost three months by the time my car gets here. I think CA is worth it, even though the wait sucks! At this point, however, I have waited since I was 16 to have my first BMW. Three months isn't going to kill me.

I really don't understand why you guys in USA have to wait for the CA, we've had it since the E90's launch here in Europe...

It is worth the wait, in my opinion. Rather wait 2+ months because if you exclude CA in your order, you will not be able to add it afterwards.

I agree, it is worth the wait.

For the PDC aswell, the rear end is large and you can't really see where it end out the back window! PDC has been a life saver for me!

I now couldn't live without my CA...it makes such a difference, I can enter, start my car and put on my seatbelt while talking on the phone, eating an icecream and all without taking my key out...it's really a life saver! PLUS it is a very cool thing to have....

totally agree with you. That's exactly what I am doing. Start/stop button is useless without the CA. It's not useless but worthless. It actually forces you to do more to start the car than the old fashion keys.
