Interested in Cobb, however don't want to lose cpo on my car. Bmw can see how many times the ecu has been flashed correct? Or else I would have been all over this.

From my understanding, It would be everything. Any additional maps in the ECU, features, etc.

If you're concerned, wait until your vehicle is out of warranty. I know BMW can read data on the newer cars.

Btw, great progress... we're almost 1/4 of the way there in less than 24hours!!

Get this thread shared to your social media circles and ask them to post genuine interest. Every N55 from 2012 to now would benefit from support and that's quite a large market assuming they can break encryption.

Soooooo, are they adding support for 2012+ N55 yet? These cars are starting to come off warranty.

That's the big push right now mouse. We just have to show enough support.

They have a great product, lets keep them here.

I just talked a good friend of mine into buying a 2011 135i DCT nearly identical to mine. I love my Cobb, but as most on this thread continued support would be awesome. I'm trying to convince him he needs a Cobb Accessport as well. Haha

I originally had a 2002 WRX that had an accessport.

Once I got a 135i it was the natural way to go. Unfortunately it lacked TONS of features and because of that I moved to MHD.

Cobb, count me in for switching back if you guys can step up your development of the platform.

Not sure if the current system allows it, but the ability to freely rev the engine with the clutch pedal depressed would be nice. Make it a lot easier to heal/toe. Currently have to mash the gas to blip the throttle.

you should make sure he would be able to use it first. I have a 2011 dct 135i, bought the access port and found that it was unusable with my cars software version. apparently it's only compatible with 2011 cars that have a certain dme version (which was not clear to me at the time of purchase) that I believe was an update after the car was released. I have asked my dealer (bmw of Manhattan) 3 times to update it without success, both when it was in warranty and afterwards. now the access port is just 900 dollar piece of plastic in the trunk.
